Look what arrived in the post today! MY DRESS FORM, that is what arrived in the post today!

This is a gift from me to myself for writing four paper in a little under two months. I don’t know about you, but I was a little impressed with myself about that. (Yep, that’s me, no false modesty.) I thought I’d earned a little bit of pampering now, and since I’ve been wanting to buy a dress form for ages … It’s one of the cheaper ones, because a) I can’t afford the more expensive dress forms, and b) I think it’s okay for the amount of sewing I do. It’s a hobby, purely for fun, and I don’t get to do it very often since I use my mom’s sewing maching, which is at my parents’ place.

There’s a little crack at the knob at the top, unfortunately. I’ll sent them a picture and ask if I can get it replaced. Otherwise, I think it’s very pretty and I’m super happy with it. Also, it inspired me to start a new dress after procrastinating for weeks! I only hope I won’t get a heart attack when I get up at night and see a figure standing in my room! 😉
