This is because a) I finished up my BA thesis (YAY *jazz hands*) and b) I was baking my little heart out. Because Christmas cookies.

Mhh… so yummy. My favourites this year were Calissons (no, I had never heard about them before either). They are, ok, what so ever I’m going to explain it in German: getrocknete Aprikosen, gemahlene Mandeln, Honig und Puderzucker im Mixer ganz klein gehäckselt und ann per Hand zu einer Marzipanähnlichen Masse verknetet, ausgerollt und auf eine große Oblate gesetzt, dann in kleine Stücke geschnitten und dann mit Zuckerguss überzogen. Fruity and sweet and suuuuuuuper lovely!
