I’m reaaaally tired after this two-day convention, so today’s Me-Made-May round-up is gonna be short and sweet! 🙂
Day 4
Jumper: Such Flattering Puff Sleeves
I love to combine this seater with my red trousers and skirts; it’d feel to boring together with black.
Day 5
Shirt: Wearable Muslin Shirt
I honestly didn’t want to start with repeats so soon, but the weather has been somewhat unpredictable lately. It’s cloudy, hot and humid, yet windy at the same time. I don’t even know, there’s some weird shit happening here. I went with the shirt so I wouldn’t get hot, but put on the trench in case the wind would be too chilly. That’s some logic right there, but it actually worked.
Day 6
Jumper: To Wear With A Summer Suit
I adore this jumper, but I’ll never get over the wonky neckband. That said, it definitely wasn’t warm enough to wear this outfit yet. Luckily I only had one class in the morning and could spend the rest of the day at home!
Day 7
Jumper: Such Flattering Puff Sleeves
Another repeat, I know. I decided I’d allow repeats but that I could wear every selfmade garment only twice, which should make this whole challenge a lot more … well, challenging.
Day 8
Cardigan: Lizzie cardigan
A staple in my wardrobe. I combined it with a striped grey-white skirt to counterbalance the romantic feel of the cardigan. Funnily enough, I chose this outfit because I had been cold without tights and long sleeves the previous two days, but on the day I covered up it started to get warm again! Of course it did.
Day 9
Cosplay: Pocahontas
I’ll write more about this soon, I promise. I want to finish my little making.of series and I hope I’ll have the pictures from our photoshoot when I’m done, because we took really cute ones!
Day 10
Skirt: Casino Skirt
This was on the second day of the convention. I wanted something comfy but approriate, so I went with the only anime-ish shirt I have and my trusty Casino skirt. (It’s the greatest, and lots of people commented on it again. :D) (Don’t look at my hair, it did NOT like wearing a wig all day on the day before. My hair’s a total diva.)
