Today’s photoshoot was my first outing after a couple of days spent in bed! I’m recovering from pyelitis, followed by a nasty inflammation at the arm because of negligence with the cannula they had inserted at the hospital. I’m still weak, but I couldn’t stand staring at the same walls anymore!
I had finished this scarf before I got sick, but then I obviously couldn’t take pictures anymore. The scarf itself took a couple of months, because I’m incredibly lazy when it comes to knitting at the moment. I wanted to make it for my graduation ceremony initially but didn’t have the time, and then it became my mindless knitting project for the next months.
The yarn is an alpaca/silk blend and incredibly soft. I can’t wait until the weather gets colder and I can wear it – it’s so huge I’m going to be able to wrap myself up with it completely! For now it’s just too warm. I was exhausted when we returned home! Nevertheless, I’m glad I could go out for a couple of minutes. We saw the cutest ducklings, too!
