I’m fundamentally a selfish knitter. Yes, I like making stuff for people I love, but to be honest I’m always so happy when I can go back to knitting for myself. I’m not even sorry. That’s why, after months of knitting presents, I was glad to finally start working on these socks.
I don’t normally like kitschy stuff and tend to avoid things with hearts on them, but this vampire-themed pattern was such a nice twist on what could’ve been a cheesy idea. Especially the little side cable with two yarn overs, called “bitemark cable”, made me laugh.
This was a fun little project. It wasn’t too challenging, but didn’t get boring thanks to the heart motif cable. Recommended for the knitter with a little experience!
