When I wrote about my knitting frustrations a few posts ago, I received very helpful advice from you how I could motivate myself when everything seems to go wrong. Thank you! itwasjudith suggested I start with the project that was the easiest to fix. Jess recommended to knit something very simple to get my knitting mojo back. I followed both ideas! I always knit a pair of socks or a hat for my uncle for Christmas so that ended up my “something simple”.
Since I knitted socks for my uncle last Christmas, I decided to make him a hat this year. I fell back to a tried-and-true pattern I already made for him once years ago. This time I chose a colder blue to mix it up a bit. It was truly a quick knit – I finished the hat in one evening while watching the second season of Penny Dreadful!
On Friday I will tell you which project I picked to follow itwasjudith‘s advice!
Pattern: Man Thing by Justyna Lorkowska
Yarn: Wolle Rödel Soft-Merino (Aran, 100% wool), 053 dunkeljeans.
