I wanted to treat myself to a cafè latte at my favourite coffeeplace here, but the weather was so bad I didn’t want to leave the house, so I made a banana milkshake instead! It’s really simple: for three portions, you need three bananas sliced into little pieces, 450ml milk and a bit of lemon juice. (You can add sugar, too, but no sugar for me because I’m on a no-sweets Lenten fast.) Mix it, and voilà: a delicious treat for the afternoon!
