Goodbye, Babygirl

You were the best kitty girl, Marchesa.

You were the ray of sunshine on the darkest days. You were a fighter, neither Oscar’s grumpiness nor your sickness could stop you from taking on the day. Every insect and bird that made the mistake to cross the borders of your kingdom regretted it for the nanosecond before it fell prey to your claws and fangs.

You lived life to the fullest, climbed on every table, chewed on every piece of plastic, and sat on every lap. My sweet little lovebug, I miss kissing and petting you every second of every day. I miss cuddling with you in bed every morning, and listening to your cheerful chatter.

My heart is in pieces. I love you so much, and I will never forget you.
